Green Mountain Cooler
This refreshing drink is best served on a porch, with a side of sunset. Smoky with apple brandy and bright with lemon, it gets a dash of sweetness from Vermont's famous maple syrup. A slice of apple adds crunch.

- 1 1/2 ounces apple brandy
- 1 ounce Grade A Vermont maple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Green apple, sliced
Combine brandy, maple syrup, and lemon juice in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well. Strain into a small ice-filled glass. Garnish with a slice of green apple.
