Pina Colada


This icy blender drink made with coconut, pineapple, and rum is a refreshing summertime classic. With the rum omitted, it's a perfect sweet treat for children.

  • 2 cups fresh or canned pineapple juice
  • 3/4 cup cream of coconut, such as Coco Lopez
  • 1 cup light rum
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 4 fresh pineapple spears, for garnish


  1. Combine all ingredients except garnish in a blender. Pour into tumblers, garnish with pineapple spears, and serve immediately.

    I make something similar, but instead of using juice, use crushed pineapple. Super yummy.

    This was very yummy. Excellent refreshing drink. I put in regular ice cubes when I blended and it came out wonderful. Excellent.
