Strawberry Shake

You may substitute other fresh or frozen berries, such as blueberries or raspberries, for the frozen strawberries.

Strawberry Shake

  • 1 pint strawberry ice cream
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (4 ounces)
  • 1 cup milk


  1. In a blender, combine ice cream, frozen strawberries, and milk; puree on high speed until smooth. Pour into four chilled glasses. Serve immediately, over ice, if desired.

    Sounds like a wonderful diabetic recipe to me. it's refreshing to find a recipe that is not loaded with sugar! I will try this with blueberry ice cream and blueberries, on a smaller scale--perhaps with half the ingrediants. I only need servings for one or two. Thanks for the nice sounding recipe.
