Why couldn't you add a couple teaspoons full of sugar instead of the eau de vie. I too would like something that is nonalcoholic. Recipes should include replacements for things that include alcohol.

eau de vie comes in several flavours? Anyone have any thoughts on which would be best?

An eau de vie (plural, eaux de vie; also spelled eau-de-vie and eaux-de-vie) is a clear, colorless fruit brandy that is produced by means of fermentation and double distillation. The fruit flavor is typically very light
