    This enduring classic conjures images of afternoon tennis matches and drinks on the lawn. Often made with lemonade alone, our cocktail includes ginger ale to mellow the flavor of Pimm's -- a fruity, spicy gin-based liqueur -- and make it effervescent.

    Ingredients

    • Ice cubes
    • 2 cups lemonade
    • 1 cup ginger ale
    • 1/2 cup Pimm's No. 1
    • 1/2 cup gin
    • Lemon slices, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Fill a large pitcher with ice cubes. Stir in lemonade, ginger ale, Pimm's No. 1, and gin. Garnish with lemon slices.

      I served this to my friends at a summer BBQ. Some had tried Pimm's before and some hadn't, but everyone loved it! It was the favorite of the night. I didn't try any variations, but I'm sure they would be good too.

      I love Pimm's!! I have never put gin & lemonade in it till today & it was very nice. It definitely dilutes the Pimm's flavor so I will continue to serve it just with ginger ale and a squeeze of lemon most of the time. If you haven't tried Pimm's, this is certainly a good recipe to start with.
