The meringues are so easy to make, although they do take some time, are light and delish. Just egg whites, sugar and something to stablize the egg whites. They do sell them in the store. I'll try this recipe, looks really easy and good

Meringues are cookies (made of egg whites). Completely delicious. If you can't find them at your local store, you can make them (but they take several hours, as they cook very slowly and have to set). Google "meringue cookies" and you'll see some images.

    Hi,
Did you find out what "Meringues" are ? I also would LOVE TO KNOW, What Are They ?
    Thanks

What in the world are "meringues"? Is this some type of cookie, cakes, that you buy at the store? The only meringue I know of is egg whites whipped, put on top of pies and then baked until brown. This recipe looks so nice and cool for summer, I would like to try making it. Thanks for your help.

You can email it to yourself too, then you don't have to mess with the annoying IE version.

  • smittman 15 Jul, 2009

If you go to the page on IE instead of Firefox, there is no ad problem. Like most of you, I prefer firefox, but it is a way to avoid the ad!

I agree!- get rid of the ads that cover the recipes !

  • JLA 15 Jul, 2009

When I clicked on "see all comments" at the bottom of this list, the ad disappeared. It's worth a try.

This is a pain not to be able to see recipe for ad. I can't close or move.

Your advertisements cover the instructions for this recipe
I would like to prepare this recipe but I can't read it. You
    have way too many advertisements!!

  • cairob 14 Jul, 2009

It is odd you can't close it, but when this happens, you can just copy the recipe and paste it onto something else to read. This sounds awfully good, raspberries should be ripe by the end of the week, so what perfect timing.
