Armagnac Syrup

Use this to make our Chocolate Roulade.

  • Yield: Makes about 3/4 cup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Armagnac, or other brandy, such as cognac


  1. Bring sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Let cool completely; stir in Armagnac.
