Chipotle Tartar Sauce

  • Yield: Makes 1 Cup


  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce, seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced scallions
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Coarse salt


  1. In a small bowl, combine garlic, chiles, mayonnaise, scallions, and lime juice; season with salt. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until ready to use.
