Heat grill to medium-high; lightly oil grates. Place chicken in a medium bowl; season with salt and pepper. Pour 1/4 cup barbecue sauce over chicken, and toss to coat. Divide remaining barbecue sauce between two bowls (1/4 cup each); use one for basting and the other for serving.
Grill chicken, turning and basting occasionally with reserved basting sauce, 8 to 10 minutes total. Remove chicken from grill; serve with reserved serving sauce.

they look like potato pancakes, peel and course grate three large potatoes,squeeze out the water from them either in your hands or in a cloth dish towel mix 1 1/2 Tbs flour 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. kosher salt add two beaten eggs and 2 tbs grated onion, fry on med high till golden 4 mins a side
Store-bought barbecue sauce! GROSS!!!! Make your own. It is MUCH better!!!!!

Me too! I can figure out how to barbeque chicken tenders. I checked out the recipe because I wanted to know what the cakes were.
Love the recipe what I really want to know is what are those delicious CAKES on the plate with the tenders!!!! Are they corn cakes, potatoe latkes??? I really have to know
