Cider-Glazed Sausage


Serve these sweet and savory sausages with our Apple-and-Cheddar Frittata.

  • 12 ounces (1 package) frozen breakfast sausage links
  • 1 cup apple cider


  1. In a large skillet, cook frozen breakfast sausage links, thawed, over medium heat, until dark brown on one side, about 6 minutes. Turn sausages over, and cook until golden, about 2 minutes. Add apple cider or apple juice to skillet, and raise heat to high. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cider thickens to a glaze, 4 to 5 minutes. Serve alongside frittata wedges.
