Garlicky Roasted Asparagus


Olive oil and garlic adds extra flavor to roasted asparagus.

  • 2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a large rimmed baking sheet, toss asparagus with oil and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Roast until tender and browned in spots, 15 to 18 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

    Would love to try this But it is 98 degrees with 98% humidity here. Cooking is out is just too much mess for 1 person. Could we have some no cook recipes please.

    Perfectly delicious. I added fresh sliced red peppers to the pan and after done sprinkled some freshly shredded Parmesan cheese. It was splendid. Will make again.
