These are a crisp, savory companion to spinach salad with turkey bacon and blue cheese.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh chives, finely chopped
- 4 slices seven-grain sandwich bread
- Coarse salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine oil and chives. Dividing evenly, brush herb mixture on bread; sprinkle with salt. Bake on top rack of oven 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden.
