Hot Chocolate

  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 5 cinnamon sticks or vanilla beans


  1. Step 1

    Heat milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat until mixture bubbles at the edges. Add chocolate, vanilla, and coffee; whisk until smooth and well combined. Serve immediately in cups; garnish each with a cinnamon stick or vanilla bean.
