Totally agree that a preview of the playlist should be made available, then the choice to purchase or not. And that is what the link above does. But it would not be clear to someone unfamiliar to iTunes. You can download iTunes for Free. But in order to purchase something from iTunes, you need to set up an account. Even with an account, iTunes always asks something to the effect, of "Sure You want to make this Purchase? Life is short. Be nice to one another. Happy Valentine's Day!

BTW mrsiglesias If you were familiar with ITunes then you would know that they do actually give away free songs every week and sometimes more!

Having said that, I want to add that it would have been nice to read the playlist before going to the "trouble" of doing it through itunes. I don't want to bother either. Also, MrsE, one can only safely assume something about a site if one has some prior knowledge of the site. Why so many put downs by readers toward other readers? I don't get it. Sharing info is always great, especially if it's just to be helpful..

You know, not everyone is as computer savvy as you, E., seem to be. Why couldn't you give the kind help without the scolding. It's easy, on some of Martha's sites, to land up with a magazine. Her business is to sell things, as well as to give things away for free. So, if a person gets a magazine they didn't realize they were signing up for, it's because the site is clever about letting that happen. Buyer beware. But, we all need kindness from each other.

Thanks Plantman for sharing with us about that TickleMe Plant. I will have to check it out. My grandson and I would love to have one!

Geez, do some "simple" research before complaining! To see a song title on the Valentine Playlist download itunes from itunes.com. From Martha's site click; "Download our Valentines Day Playlist," You'll go to the playlist in itunes. Song titles will be listed. To hear a free demo, click on arrow to the left of each song. To buy the single track, click to the right of the song. If you want to buy the album, click on that option.

I also was taken in. I thought I was entering one of her contests and later found that I have signed up for Whole Living Magazine. When I discovered the clever ruse, I immediately followed up and wrote and cancelled the subscription. Guess what, I just received my first copy of the magazine. This casts a very gray; shadow on Martha Stewart No one likes to be duped.

It would be nice to have the titles of the songs to just KNOW what they are! You could then choose what to download.

You should be careful on any site you visit, that's a reflection on you, not the site. Also, since the paragraph clearly states that you must have iTunes, and iTunes never gives anything away for free, one could safely assume there was no free download.

I found the hard way you have to be careful with Martha's sites...some how I got signed up for her monthly magainzes (2 subscriptions) which I did not want.

No, thanks. I don't wish to have to buy this music from ITunes. Thought it was a free download from Martha Stewart website.
