Chalkboard Valentine Photo Card

With this chalkboard heart, you can personalize your messages.

Tools and Materials:

Chalkboard Valentine Photo Card How-To

1. Print the heart template. Trace heart onto foam board, and cut out.

2. Cover it with a piece of chalkboard self-adhesive paper. Place heart facedown, and cut paper around the heart shape.

3. Write in messages using chalk markers.

    I think it'd be cool to take a picture of you holding a blank heart then put black construction paper in the same shape ON the picture (over the heart you're holding) and write your messages in white crayon to resemble a chalkboard. Then you can personalize every one, but only take one picture (also helps if you order a set of cards with one image).

    I saw this idea and ones similar in the Feb issue of Living. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday and to celebrate they went to Mexico. I spelled out Happy Birthday to you xoxoxo on our refrigerator with the grandsons magnetic alphabet letters, snapped the photo with my cell phone and "voice-mailed" to greeting to her! What fun!
