Handkerchief Bouquet Wrap

Martha Stewart Weddings

Ribbon isn't the only way to dress a bouquet. A handkerchief embroidered with your wedding date makes a lovely and sentimental decoration. Use a vintage or heirloom hankie and it can be your "something old." To cover the bouquet, lay the handkerchief face down, and fold back the embroidered corner so it meets the middle of the cloth. Place the hankie over the stems, centering the design, and wrap it envelope-style: Fold in one side, then the bottom, then the other side. Secure with pins.

I love this idea also! My best friend did this. She chose her wedding handkerchief from Li'l Inspirations. http://www.lil-inspirations.com She was able to completely customize it.

I love this! So classy! I have had customers that purchased hankies from me for their bridesmaids' bouquets so the girls could have a keepsake after the wedding. I have a lot of prints and colors so feel free to check them out if you are interested! www.happyhanky.com

Does anyone know what kind of flowers and greenery this bouquet is made of?
