Antique Map How-To
1. Photocopy map, and attach photocopy to a piece of foam core using acid-free tape.
2. Wipe wet tea bags lightly and quickly across photocopied version of the map in even strokes.
3. Select a color palette and mix colors. Outline a parcel of land with one color. Select a new color to paint a body of water. With another color, outline the title. Let colors set, then add more layers to increase depth.
4. Once the map is complete, mount on linen or use in a Decoupage Map Tray.

I have decoupaged before, but do you know what type of watercolors they were using? does it effect the paint? It was nice to somebody so young and so fun on the Show, the maps Martha and Ben did are beautiful.
What was the brand of decoupage medium that was used. It did not look like Mad Podge. Also, does the printer ink smear during the antiquing process?
