Starting a wreath- or flower-making project? Make sure you have these essentials on hand.

Cloth-wrapped floral wire is similar to plain floral wire, but wrapped in thread. Excellent for faux flower stems, white cloth-wrapped floral wire can be colored with a permanent marker.

Floral tape is a must-have for flower-making projects. Stretch and pull it to activate the adhesive wax, which will enable the tape to stick to itself.

Pruners are a wreath-making essential. Use them to cut branches from trees, or to clip smaller pieces from a bundle. Remove sap after every use so the blades don't jam.
