Corn-on-the-Cob Favor

Materials

  • Tamale wrappers
  • Green paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Yellow tissue paper
  • Candy and/or trinkets
  • Raffia
  • Seating card tag (optional)

Steps

  1. Step 1 of 3

    Paint one side of a tamale wrapper green to imitate a corn husk. Let dry.
  2. Step 2 of 3

    Roll trinkets and candy inside a rectangle of yellow tissue paper. Lay on top of unpainted side of corn husk.
  3. Step 3 of 3

    Gather ends and tie with raffia, adding a tag to one end, if desired.
