Dot-Punched Stationery

Give everyday -- and inexpensive -- note cards and envelopes some flair by trimming the edges with a decorative rotary cutter and a micro-hole punch.

  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Paper or note cards
  • Envelopes
  • Decorative rotary cutter
  • Micro-hole punch

  1. Step 1

Using a ruler and a pencil, draw a line 1/8 inch from the edge of the paper, note card, or envelope flap; cut along the line using a decorative rotary cutter. Punch a circle inside each scallop with micro-hole punch.

  2. Step 2

For gifts, tie sets with ribbon and attach tiny gift tags.
