Armagnac Simple Syrup
- Yield: Makes 7 cups

- 4 cups sugar
- 4 ounces Armagnac
In a heavy 4-quart saucepan, bring 4 cups of water and the sugar to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add Armagnac. Let stand at room temperature to cool. Set aside. Can be made several days in advance.
