Cats have a particular way all their own of putting up with costumes and photographs, as you can see from these entries in our Easter Photo Contest.
Peanut, a five-year-old cat from Royal Oak, Michigan, was rescued by contributor tfirzlaff from a ditch when he was only six weeks old. "He is a very loving and joyful animal. He loves to dress up as the Easter Bunny and have his picture taken."
Benjamin, a rescued Bengal from Lubbock, Texas, and his brother, Mr. Snugglepants, like to wear vests and sweaters for each holiday, says contributor benikitty. "They have Texas Tech sweatshirts to wear on game days and Christmas sweaters for the holiday season, but my favorite is their springtime apparel."
Zoey, a Himalayan from Burlington, Wisconsin, was owner-surrendered into cat rescue because they "no longer had time for her," reports contributor SPCR. "This darling petite Himalayan, barely five pounds full-grown, was a champion show kitten. We took her in at Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue. I'd bought this fun giant teacup planter for flowers -- just thought it would be a perfect springtime photo with the little teacup 'Zoey' before planting my flowers!"
