Our winner this month is Oliver, a Boston terrier from Chilhowie, Virginia. "Great snack for cooling off on the Fourth of July," writes pshupe.
Congratulations!
Shawnee, a poodle mix from Downey, California. "Pets were not allowed at this particular cemetery, but our dear friend loved pets, and they made an exception for Shawnee because she looked so festive," writes tigerpro14. "Right away the guard said, 'Oh! Isn't that sweet, go ahead. She can stay for 15 minutes only.' [Shawnee] took off so fast, like she knew where to go, and just sat there so sweet paying her respects to our veterans."
We Be Truman Night Hawk of Enstrom (aka Truman), a fawn French bulldog with a black mask from Walla Walla, Washington. "Our male puppy, 'Truman,' is having his picture taken on my grandparents' American flag," writes Tonilynn0. "There are only 48 stars on this flag, but his heart is in it for the other two states that have joined. And now we are proud of all 50 of the United States of America."
Jordan, a collie from Patterson, New York. "Jordan proudly showing his patriotism while watching the town's Memorial Day parade with his owner, a disabled Vietnam veteran," writes fujizzy.
Ohana, a beagle mix from Lansing, Michigan. "Ohana thinks it's important to remember our past and present troops during this time of patriotic celebration," writes cosgrov8. "Among our country's colors of red and white, he is also surrounded by yellow as a reminder to support our troops."
Capri, a rottie mix from North Attleboro, Massachusetts. "This is how patriotic we are!" writes seaver12. "We love this time of year."
