A vegetable tray is a lovely way to start a meal. Look closely at this one; it's the perfect meal ending. Di-r made this sweet "Veggie" Tray for some friends to enjoy with coffee. The platter is made entirely of cookies and candy -- the carrots and celery were made from spritz cookie dough; the eggs were formed from candy melts; the olives are black jelly beans, and frosting stood in for an herb dip!

This newborn chick's egg is made of COE96 white glass. Her winsome yellow eyes are glass nuggets with painted pupils, and her pouting beak, glass confetti. The egg cracks, flowers, and grass were hand-painted onto the egg. Her legs are made from twisted copper wire and attached with E6000 glue, and while she is able to stand on her own, she'd prefer to be attached to a spring jacket with the pin at her back. Her creator, Nancster, says that this chick hopes to one day be invited to compete on "Dancing with the Stars."
