A trio of paper creations -- mini cakes designed to be cake toppers -- were made by D. Sharp and incorporated Darcy's illustrations of her family.

Favor boxes topped with pop-up drawings served as stylish send-offs. Darcy's sketches depicted fashionable families, including fashion designer Lela Rose's clan. Chocolate almonds and dark-chocolate malted-milk balls were hidden inside (kopperschocolate.com).

These cookies from Eleni's, a New York City confectioner, were customized with Darcy's signature illustrations to make memorable favors.

Custom life-size portraits of the Nussbaum clan are based on Darcy's illustrations; photographs can also be enlarged and used as artwork (thetypehouseinc.com).

A bonus for those with a sweet tooth: Chocolate lollipops decorated with Darcy's portraits of the Spade family (in green) and the Nussbaums (in pink) greeted guests at the door of the gallery (beau-coup.com).

Favor boxes featuring Darcy's illustrations of families decorated the mantel inside the gallery. Two confections -- chocolate almonds and dark-chocolate malted-milk balls, by Koppers Chocolate -- were wrapped in clear bags (clearbags.com) and tucked inside.

Tiny mint boxes with personalized covers were offered at the gallery event (foryourparty.com). Two are decorated with Darcy's illustrations, and a third features "I [heart] my family," written by Darcy's mother, Madge.

Custom buttons (purebuttons.com) gave gallerygoers a chance to express themselves. Darcy's drawings adorned a few, her mother wrote the "I [heart] my family" one, and the "child" series featured script by Bernard Maisner.
