Flag Streamers

Nothing pulls a party together like a motif and a vibrant palette. Set the tone in advance with claw-shaped invitations. Then, use lobster-red and sail-white hues on place cards and festive flag streamers. Striped dish towels serve as napkins -- the generous size is just right for a lobster feast.

Flag Streamers How-To
1. Draw template to size on plain paper; cut out. trace onto scrapbook or other decorative paper; cut out flags.

2. Cut twine as long as you want streamers to be. Apply glue stick to top of a flag, on back. wrap glued edge around twine, folding resulting flaps forward and securing them on front of flag. Repeat with remaining flags.
