Instead of pressing a runner flat as usual, give it a fresh look by creasing it into a decorative grid. Fold the cloth in half lengthwise, and make a stiff crease with the iron. Unfold the cloth; fold the long sides in to meet the crease you've just made, then iron a crease on each side. Unfold the cloth again, and repeat the same creases along its width.
