Never use paper towel to clean or dry silver, it is like using wood on your silver, which is what paper products are made.

I'm a silver restoration, conservation, and preservationist. You'll find the most thoroughly researched and practiced silver care information in my Silver Care Guide here: http://www.hermansilver.com/care.htm.
