Simple and Striking Centerpiece

This is the crisp sundress of flower arrangements: so pretty, so easy, so fresh.

  • Scissors

  • 20 flat head flowers

  • 8x12 inch waterproof container

  • clear tape

  1. Clip the stems of flat-head flowers so they're just taller than a waterproof container. (We used 20 flowers for an 8-by-12-inch galvanized-steel tray.)

  2. Make a grid of clear tape across the top. Insert flower stems into the openings so they hide the tape and appear to be brimming out of the container.
