Peekaboo Gift Card

Showcase a little present, such as a handkerchief with pretty embroidery or a photo, by presenting it in a card like this.

  • Card stock
  • Bone folder
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch (optional)
  • Ribbon (optional)
  • Double-sided tape

  1. Step 1

Fold a piece of 8 1/2-by-11-inch card stock into thirds, using a bone folder for neat creases. Trim card to desired size.

  2. Step 2

Open it; in the middle panel, use a utility knife to cut a window for the item; if desired, punch two tiny holes to thread a ribbon for a bow.

  3. Step 3

Position item on card. Then place a strip of double-sided tape below item and along outer edge of the side panel; fold in, and press, creating a pocket for the item. Add greeting inside card.

These are lovely...I also am looking for the sample greetings and, like everyone else, so not have time to spend searching...(glad I saw another comment on this subject...thought for a minute it was just me!)

these directions are not detailed enough. When Martha Stewart rebuilt her new site her instructions most of them are not detailed enough even if you see the show between the time you see the show and sit down to do any of the crafts you forget some key points that would be heipful in the instructions
