Notebook Holder

A small notebook attached to the front cover of a book helps keep track of test dates and homework assignments. Slide 2 large rubber bands over the cover, slightly closer together than the width of a small notebook. Slide the back cover of the notebook under the rubber band on the left, and use the rubber band on the right to keep the notebook shut (when you're not using it, of course).

KSULady... be careful when you say "most" of anything as my children can certainly use this idea and I plan on tweaking it for my own use! My momma taught me that if I didn't have something nice to say not to say anything at all.

I love the idea . . . . it doesn't have to be only for kids without planners. There are so many more uses and so practical. Why didn't I think of this myself

KSULady -- Most schools in the San Francisco Bay Area are not provided with planners these days. In fact, most schools in this area require that each household purchase the most basic of school supplies (including paper for the school's copy machine) and not for their own child's use but for the use of the entire classroom. Those things that are not purchased by parents are often purchased by teachers out of their own salaries and they do not get reimbursed.

KSULady, if the rubber bands break, just replace them.

True, most schools require the students to purchase a planner. Try attaching it to the front of your Bible to jot down favorite verses.

I think it's a cute idea...My daughter would love this! Even though she is supplied with a planner...

Most schools provide kids with planners these days. I'm not sure this idea is relevant or practical. The bands will break, the notebook will get tattered...pretty disappointing MSL.
