Popcorn strands are classic tree decorations, but you can also use them to create a wintry wreath.
Wreath How-To
1. Cut the center out of a paper plate.
2. Cut a 3-foot length of waxed dental floss; tie one end to plate.
3. Thread other end through needle, and string popcorn.
4. Wrap strand around plate; tie off.
5. Add strands until wreath is covered (layer to fill gaps).
6. Loop ribbon and hang; glue on a bow.
Would someone who's tried this project be able to recommend how much unpopped corn is needed? Thanks.
I made this with my girls and it turned out so stinkin' cute! We tied it with a wide dark brown ribbon to match my Flurryville snowmen and it is very classy. The girls took the leftover popcorn outside and sprinkled it under the evergreens for the little critters. We all enjoyed this simple project!

This wreath would also be great for our feathered friends during the winter months. Add some nuts and berries and they will really think it is Christmas, even the Floss will become part of their nest.
It will be so trilling for children and yourself to watch. Slow down and enjoy God's handy work.
