Large dried gourd, available from florists or amishgourds.com

Masking tape

Wood-burning tool with a needle tip (23906), $30.99, by Versa, from Walnut Hollow

How-To
1. Print the number in any font and size. Cut out, and tape to a large dried gourd (available from florists). 

2. Fit a wood-burning tool with a needle tip, and pierce evenly spaced holes into the gourd's skin, outlining the digits. 

3. Add other decorative touches around the number with pencil; pierce again.

    HELP. I need to know how to dry the gourds I bought for my Thanksgiving Day centerpiece. I hope someone can help. You know it's kinda like recycle thing for me. They are so pretty I want to try to preserve or do somethign with them. So plz. ley me know. Thank You!
