Project

Ribbon Hanger

Introduction

This colorful tether is an illusion -- a picture wire actually supports the weight.

Materials

  • Wood-framed item
  • Wire
  • Ribbon
  • Thumbtacks
  • Terrycloth
  • Decorative picture nail

Steps

  1. Step 1

Hang a wood-framed item with wire, and then choose the attachment point for your ribbon.

  2. Step 2

Measure from there to a corner of the frame. Cut ribbon to twice that length plus 6 to 8 inches. Place frame facedown on terrycloth, and secure ribbon with thumbtacks. Rehang, and add a decorative picture nail.
