Key Organizer

Introduction

An old medicine cabinet or cigar box may solve the age-old problem of misplaced keys. Invite holiday visitors to hang their keys in this key corral (shown in unfinished pine and painted white) and avoid the hunt. When you have selected an appropriate box, screw in a few cup hooks, and add the handle of your choice.

We have done a similar thing by using hooks on the inside of a cabinet door, a label maker tag labels each one so that we do not forget what those rarely used keys open.

How would you mount a heavy cutting board on the wall wihout damaging it? This is nice but I would want something that somehow stores sunglasses as well. I like this because it hides everything under an interesting little door.

My alternative to this is to take a funky old wooden cutting board and screw the cup hooks into it. Hang it on the wall and ta-da!

Ikea has a similar one as well. Very inexpensive !!
