Remove Wax Spots

Clean hardened-wax drips on tables by blow-drying on low for several seconds. Scrape away warm wax with the edge of a credit card, and wipe away any residue. One way to treat wax on tablecloths is with boiling water: stretch fabric taut across a colander and secure with a rubber band. Place colander in a deep sink; peel as much wax from surface as possible. Pour boiling water over wax-covered area. The wax will liquefy and wash away.

You can also put a piece of paper over the wax and warm it with an iron. The paper will absorb the wax as it melts.
