Guest Recipe Exchange

Martha Stewart Living, November 2002

Add a new tradition to this year's holiday buffet: Ask guests who are bringing food to print multiple copies of the recipe. Place the recipe cards beside the appropriate dishes, and invite people to help themselves to both. Later, whenever somebody uses one of these recipes, she will remember the occasion when she first enjoyed it.

We do this at work potluck dinners. We just print 5-10 copies of there cipe and lay it beside the dish. Not only does this share the recipe but it also lets everyone know what the dish is and what ingredients are in it (for those that have food allergies). As Martha would say, "It's a good thing!" LOL!

This is a good idea. I am thinking it might be nice to do on Valentines Day for those of us (retired singles) to get together and share lunch and stories.

What a great idea! So many times where I have to ask for a recipe or someone asks of me. And usually never get it, somehow it is forgotten at these busy times. So will definately not only use this but will tell others.
