Pinecone Turkey

This place-card companion might not take center stage, but it will still be a welcome addition to your table. To make the head and beak, bend a 3-inch piece of brown pipe cleaner, and affix it to the top of a pinecone with craft glue. Glue 3 feathers (available at crafts-supply stores) near the base. Station one turkey at each setting with a place card.

I made these this year and they came out great! I actually used gold pine cones that came from some sprigs on sale at my local craft store. Everyone loved them!

I made these last year for place settings at Thanksgiving. Everyone loved them and took them home as a momento too! Very easy to make and the pine cones came from my own back yard!
