Wood Lattice Tool Rack

Martha Stewart Living, April 2010

For storing everyday tools, wood lattice is even handier than a basic trellis

Choose a heavy-duty variety, sold in sheets at hardware stores and lumberyards, and screw it onto a door using spacers. Then hang implements from S hooks, which fit snugly in the diamond framework.

For items that can't be hung, attach broom clamps or suspend binder clips from hooks.

I have old kitchen cabinets in my garage. I put pegboard on the outside of the doors for tool storage, but the lattice idea would be very handy, too! I also painted the doors with chalkboard paint. I write what is inside on the door. Makes it easy tofind what I need. And for others to put things back where they go!

This is just brilliant for my garden shed as I have old trellis off-cuts that I can finally make use of. Thanks
