Names written on metal plant labels wash away in the rain if you don't use a permanent marker. But you can still use an old label again for a different plant: Just erase the indelible ink by rubbing it with a cotton ball dipped in nail-polish remover.

    I think you have to use nail polish remover WITH acetone (that part wasn't mentioned in the directions).
