Project

Design an In-Box for Everyone

Introduction

Each member of this household is allowed two slots in a vertical magazine rack to hold documents, homework, and mail. This way, even though the area is shared, no one's papers go astray.

There are several stores that carry a variety of magazine rack including, but not limited to The Container Store, Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, and TJ Maxx.

I use the clear acrylic vertical files from most office supply stores. They are not quite as classy as the white wood, but they are inside my pantry door and never quite as neat as Martha's! The clear plastic allows you to see more of what is in each file.

where can we get these actual boxes?

  • Anna1986 13 Apr, 2009

I found several sizes at Home Market, you can get them at any equipment store. If they are too small, you can glue more than one together and get one big, for whole familly. :)
