Trim for Diapers and Tees

Martha Stewart Baby, Special Issue 2000

Although many parents no longer use cloth diapers for their original purpose, the thick cotton cloths can come in handy for everything from shading a baby's face from the sun to cleaning up formula spills. For a personalized touch, edge the diapers with rickrack or piping from a trimmings or fabric store. You can also give baby tees a finished look by lining their edges with piping or headband trim, available at book-binding and art-supply stores.
