Let kids redo this basic office staple as a gift for Dad -- their messages will last well beyond Father's Day.
Wrap a rubber band around a notepad cube and have kids write greetings and make drawings on two sides with a broad, pointy marker. (Fine tips will get caught between the pages.) Move band, and decorate the other two sides. Tie the notepad with a colorful ribbon. As an added gift, slide in a pen.

Here is a fun product you can do with Dad. Grow a real house plant that moves and closes its leaves when you Tickle It!
He will never look at plants in the same way. See video

Please update your info. Oriental trading discontinued in 2011. Do you have any other sources for this type of cube? I can't seem to locate anywhere.
Guess my last reply was over the character limit.. if you go to orientaltrading.com you should be able to search for "Blank Note Cubes" and find the product.
Here is a link to the pads on OT: http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?demandPrefix=12
Local printer made my cube, 600 pages 3x3 in as little as 3 hours and cost only 11.00.
I got colorful note cubes at Target.
Try shop.com....
Cute idea, but I couldn't find the tall, white cubes anywhere. I checked OT twice and they don't list it. I also check the retail office supply stores to no avail. Bummer!
