Don't give up on that hydrangea bouquet just because it has begun to wilt. Unlike many flowers, these can be enlivened with a good soak, so you can enjoy them for up to two weeks. Every couple of days, snip an inch off the stems and submerge the flowers in a tub of water for an hour or two. Remove them, shake gently, and return to a vase. Continue trimming and soaking until they've truly passed their prime. Keep the display interesting by swapping containers as stems get shorter or by floating blooms in a shallow dish.
