- Cotton or seersucker
- Thin flannel
- Sewing machine
- Sewing kit
Pair a lightweight fabric, such as cotton or seersucker, with thin flannel. Cut both into 34-by-45-inch pieces; pin with right sides facing.
Machine-sew edges with a 1/2-inch seam allowance, leaving a 3-inch opening.
Turn blanket inside out; hand-sew opening closed.
