Towel Ladder

Martha Stewart Living, June/July 1994

Keep the bathroom tidy by hanging towels from the rungs of a progressive or apple-picking ladder propped against a wall. Or use a towel ladder on a porch for beach towels, so sand isn't brought indoors. To prevent the ladder from slipping, attach rubber tips made for chair legs to the ladder's feet. You can also secure the top of the ladder to the wall with hooks and eyes.

Also try bamboo rods, they sell them at many stores, you can cut them to size, and they're more environmentally sustainable then many other materials.

You can always make your own apple picking ladder, with 1x4's and dowel rods. Then you can paint/stain to match your decor!

I love this idea. I don't know if my bathroom is big enough to implement this suggestion, but it would work in other rooms of the house.
