Project

Dried Leaf Place Cards

Steps

  1. Step 1

Lay down a sheet of newsprint, followed by paper towels. Arrange leaves on paper towels, then place a second layer of paper towels and a sheet of newsprint on top.

  2. Step 2

Set stack in a phone book, and place in a dry, ventilated spot for several days.

  3. Step 3

Use a gel-ink pen -- ours had white ink, but metallic shades will also work well -- to add guests' names.

I love how somple and beautiful this idea is. I really don't need beauty that is time consuming and full of a bunch of intricate steps. This is one I will do!

Cute idea -- but I wouldn't stick the leaf in a cup that the guest is going to eat or drink out of.
