Crocheted Baby Booties
Source: Martha Stewart Baby, Winter 2001
Making something by hand for an arriving baby is a thoughtful gesture on the part of a friend or relative -- and it's also a nice way for an expectant mom to pass time toward the end of her pregnancy. These adorable ruby-red booties are an excellent project for an experienced crocheter.
Crochet hook US size D3 (3.25 mm)
50 grams red fingering-weight wool yarn
Two white shirt buttons
Red or white sewing thread
