I used printed paper ribbons for making the corners and they are looking good too.

Heather416 -- Your idea of using the photo's subject fabric is wonderful. I can see several applications: wedding, baby shower, senior prom, graduation, etc. And what way to incorporate something manly for the guys!

WOW! I HAVE TONS OF RIBBON AND AM GOING TO USE THIS IDEA TO PUT PICTURES ON A POSTER BOARD ON MY REFRIGERATOR SIDE USING BIG MAGNET STRIPS ON THE BACK TO KEEP IT IN PLACE. GRACIAS!! MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!

I use scraps of scrapbooking paper in the same way. I use it on pictures I put in pictures in picture frames in the colors from the pictures to add a little extra color.

Maybe a stretch, but I would occasionally like to use the fabric someone's wearing in the photo to make the corners - what a keepsake that would be.

This would be a cute way to display photos on a bullein board as well. Just push a flat thumbtack through the straight edge opposite the point.
