Peacock Evergreen Spray

Make this distinctive spray for a lovely addition to your holiday decor.

Materials

  • 2 pieces of noble fir
  • Pruner
  • Floral wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Flat cedar
  • Seeded eucalyptus
  • Peacock feathers
  • Hot glue
  • Ribbon
  • Ribbon Rosette (optional)

Steps

  1. Step 1

Start with 2 pieces of noble fir. Trim 1 piece so that it is shorter than the other to make the top of the spray. Attach the 2 pieces together using floral wire.

  2. Step 2

Attach flat cedar and seeded eucalyptus to spray using floral wire.

  3. Step 3

Attach peacock feathers using hot glue; reinforce with wire at center of spray.

  4. Step 4

Tie ribbon around wire, making a traditional bow or adding a Ribbon Rosette if desired.

I missed the info about where to purchase the peacock feathers. My daughter is getting married and wants to put some in her hair. Her dress is bright peacock blue. Thanks.
